No, it wasn't a bug that Jaslynn discovered in one of her art work. It was a caterpillar. So Jaslynn decided to pick up her paint brush and give each part of the big fat caterpillar's body a different colour.

Gardening service anyone ?
Jaslynn just invented a robot that can help you with your gardening. No more grumpy garderners to deal with. Her robot works in rain or shine. And will also make sure every blade of grass is exactly the same length, right down to the millimeter.
Take a look at the prototype !

Happy Fathers' Day
I know, it kinda late for Fathers' Day. But Jaslynn just drew me a lovely Fathers' Day card yesterday. Take a look !
This is the outside of the card.
The inside. On the right, it's Daddy and Mommy on top, and Jaslynn and Justin at the bottom. On the left are the audience/spectators. Notice the lines drawn across the people at the bottom row? That was Justin's contribution, which caused a lot of grief to the sister, as usual.

Happy Birthday Wendy !
Went to Villages @ Heeren for my sister's birthday. As usual, Jaslynn and Justin had a wonderful time with so many different variety of food to eat. And the Shu Shus (uncles) were also entertained by many stories of their antics from our resident story-teller.
What happended to the previous mascot?

My First House
As promised, some pics of Jaslynn's first piece of art from her first lesson with Yippie Arts Studio.
Jaslynn says her house is called 'Rainbow House'. Guess who stays inside? The traffic light is for the cars that travel along the road just in front of the house. Jaslynn says the traffic lights are there so that the cars don't bang into the house.
The view from the garden.
For this week, Jaslynn did a drawing using colour pencils. The theme was on robots.
Stay tuned !!

Ants ! Ants !
Justin always likes to spot ants. This time he found some on his seat in the MRT and started to count them. The occasional nod of his head was because he lost count.
Can you count how many times he nodded his head?

All aboard the JJ Express
Finally got down to setting up the 'Thomas the Train' set for the kids that I bought last Christmas. It is the 'Thomas Adventure Set #7408', which has a train station and a suspension bridge, with a track below the bridge for the London Bus to run around.
I remembered setting up a simpler one when Justin was about 1 year plus. He kept picking up Thomas and giving him a bite. At least now he's fascinated by so many things going on at the same time.
There's Harold the helicopter flying whenever Thomas makes a call at the station. And Bertie the London Bus making its rounds below the bridge.
Our 2 station masters having a little disagreement.
Ha ha. It's all mine now.
